Dear Recipients,
We're writing this letter to you because we understand that our approach to tzedakah is a bit different from other organizations. This may make some people feel uncomfortable and would thereby avoid using us for assistance. Therefore, we want to assure you that we are taking every precaution to ensure your comfort and trust in our process.
Here's how we make a real impact while protecting the privacy of those in need:
1. We have limited group sizes of those who receive the causes to control exposure while ensuring each cause receives the attention it deserves to raise the funds.
2. We share the story of a cause without identifying information, giving a sense of the impact donations will have without compromising privacy.
3. Our groups cover large areas intentionally, sometimes including multiple communities, making it extraordinarily unlikely for the identity behind a cause to be revealed.
4. In smaller communities, we focus on assisting unpublicized causes, like a home repair, rather than public events like a Bar Mitzvah or Wedding, so the recipient will remain unknown.
We hope this explains our approach and puts your mind at ease. We're dedicated to making a difference in the lives of those in need while respecting their privacy.
Warm regards,
Yossi Ehrenfeld
